Strengthening Families Pomona

Strengthening Families Pomona is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) through the National Association of City & County Health Officials to address adverse childhood experiences and substance use disorders. As one of nine Evidence-Based Programs selected, Parents Anonymous® is focusing on diverse Pomona mothers, fathers, and expectant parents with or at-risk of substance use disorders to help Parents, Children & Youth strengthen their families.  Furthermore, Parents Anonymous® is piloting academic detailing on adverse childhood experiences with physicians and nurse practitioners to improve practices for Parents Children & Youth to raise awareness and link Parents, Children & Youth to services.
